AIがどんどん進化していくちょっと怖い話

Yesterday I went to this seminar about marketing in main street businesses and how artificial intelligence is quickly and naturally coming into our everyday lives.

I was never really deeply aware of the topic, although it has come up a lot at work.
It always seemed like a topic that would especially interest people who have the basic knowledge.
But in hearing this seminar, made me realize how, in fact we are already in contact with them everyday, unconsciously.
And that it’s really not a matter of interest but something that we are already adapting to in living our daily lives.

I learned that there are already so many people and businesses that depend on AI and the numbers will just keep on growing from here on out.
And there’s been a study that shows a list of jobs that may be lost to these AI’s in the near future.
Some jobs include receptionists, cashiers, chefs, hotel clerks,waiters, tour guides and the list just goes on.

The more we humans feed them intelligence, obviously, the more and more smarter they will get…
Smart enough that they can get the job done, without our help. So then where do we go??
Kind of scary actually….but it’s really something to think about.

‘’Kind of’’

”kind”といえば他にも使い方がありますよね。

”You’re so kind” 「あなたはとても親切です」
”What kind of book is that? ”「それはどんな（種類）本ですか？」

もう一つがこの”kind of”　［カインダブ］

これは「まあまあ」、「どちらかというと」という意味です。

まあまあは”So-so”を使うことが多いと思いますが、”kind of” の方が日常会話ではよく使う気がします。

A: ”How was the math test?” 「数学のテストどうだった？」
B: ”It was kind of hard.”「まあまあ難しかった」

この場合、”It was kind of hard”=まあまあ難しかった、という意味ではありますが、
ストレスを付ける場所で、ニュアンスが少～し変わります！

”kind of”を普通に言うと、「どちらかと言えば難しかった」
ですが、”kind”を強調すると、まあまあよりも少ない意味を持ちます。

”It was KIND of hard”「ちょっと難しかったけど思っていた程ではない」
という意味に近いです。

またkindを強調せずに普通に会話で使うときは”kinna”［カイナ］に省略されることもあります。
